Product Description

S-200 Pro-cure UV Varnish is a product has to be applied with R-313 Pro-cure Ink to cause a clear contrast effect on printed matter. Its idea is to coat S-200 on the printed matter printed the exclusive item R-313 Pro-cure Ink in special patterns by offset printing machine. It is an innovative coating technology shows high gloss, clear contrast effect on printed matter surface.

It is not necessary for Pro-cure to further purchase facilities or modify the machines as spot varnishing method. It will not increase any extra cost but only one more procedure. The performance of Pro-cure shows exquisite edge, high contrast, explicit effects and abrasive hand touch that spot varnishing can ever achieve.

Pro-cure is novelty, exquisite, gorgeous and anti-counterfeiting. The key points are Pro-cure not increase the cost, require less coating technology, and act quick processing. It can be applied for book cover, product packaging and other printed matter. It increases additional values and profits in printing.

Operation

  1. S-200 can be applied for on-line coating, UV off-line coating, spot coating and several kinds of method.
  2. Pour into the tank directly without adding solvent for use. In off-line coating, if the viscosity is sticky and the spot contract is not clear, may heat UV varnish to 40-45oC.Or use another way as add EAC ≤ 10% or diluted alcohol solvent for use.
  3. Use directly without supporting based oil. It will have excellent adhesion, gloss, anti-burst properties and etc.
  4. Recommended coating weight is 4-6gs/m2. Actual coating weight is adjusted appropriately according to printing substrate, ink thickness and expected contract effect.
  5. Special ink (such as reflex blue, pink, etc.) easier to cause screen dot expending or less resistant high temperature and make the printing change the color. Need special attention in proof tests.
  6. Four-color stack dark color section, gold color ink and silver color ink easier make less adhesion. Need special attention in proof tests.

Packing and storage

  1. 20kgs plastic drum in dark color. 200kgs / iron drum.
  2. Keep away from high temperature, high humidity and direct sun-light.
  3. Product expiration: sealed, 12 months.
  4. This product is no self-ignition, corrosive and explosive. For risk, wear mask and gloves while using and handling, and keep watch to prevent touching and breathing. If skin is contacted, promptly and thoroughly flush skin with plenty of water use soap if available.
  5. Fire point: 102oC (method: ASTM D92). Fire fighting material: foam or CO₂.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation:

  • Remove to fresh air. Consult physician/medical help if respiratory is not relieved by fresh air. Give artificial respiration or oxygen if necessary.

Eye Contact:

  • Rinse eyes immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes and contact physician as needed. (S26)

Skin Contact:

  • Promptly and thoroughly flush skin with plenty of water, use soap if available.
  • Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Ingestion:

  • Wash out mouth with water, do not induce vomiting. Consult physician.

  • Wear neoprene gloves, PVC chemical resistant suit with integral hood and knee length rubber safety boots. Wear full-face piece respirator with organic vapor canister. In a confined space, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Environmental precautions:

  • Prevent contamination of soil and water. Prevent from spreading or entering into drains, ditches or rivers by using sand, earth or other appropriate barriers. Advise relevant authorities if contamination occurs.

Clean up method:

  • Absorb, or contain with sand, earth or similar inert absorbent material.
  • Shovel up and keep in a tightly closed container for disposal.
  • Put leaking containers in a labeled drum.
